- The track at Lower Shawsheen field will be closed the week of July 17 as finishing work on a renovation is completed. The project includes the demolition and removal of the previously existing base, installation of a new sub-base and finish surface, application of a resilient sport surfacing to the track, and painting new lane stripes (more info).
