A three-alarm fire destroyed 9,500-square-foot home on Somerset Drive in Andover Sunday.

Andover Fire Rescue was called to the fire around 12:13 p.m. By 12:40 p.m., when the third alarm was struck, the fire had spread to the attic and roof of the house. The roof eventually collapsed, but firefighters were able to extinguish the fire by 1:34 p.m.

There were no reported injuries. None of the home’s three residents were home during the fire.

Fire departments from Lawrence, Tewksbury, North Andover, and Wilmington responded to the fire, while firefighters from Reading, North Reading and Middleton provided station coverage for Andover.
