The Andover Select Board will branch out from its usual meeting room in town hall for its next two meetings. On Wednesday, July 20, the board will hold its regular meeting at the Ballardvale Fire Station. And on Monday, Aug. 1 the board will meet at the Municipal Services Building at 5 Campanelli Drive.
The board is also soliciting suggestions for other places to hold its upcoming meetings. Facilities have to be ADA compliant. The mobile meetings will still be streamed online and on local cable.
“We want to take the meetings into the community — change the venue, get more people to attend the meetings,” Chair Alex Vispoli said at the select board’s June 27 meeting.
