New Hampshire State Police arrested a 31-year-old Andover woman Wednesday for driving north on the southbound side of Interstate 93 through Salem and Windham, NH.
Police in Massachusetts and other callers reported a Jeep Grand Cherokee driving the wrong-way from Methuen into New Hampshire around 2:45 a.m. Police stopped the car north of Exit 2 in Windham. The Jeep was stopped in the breakdown lane, still facing north.
Michelle Valdez, 31, of Andover, was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, reckless operation, and driving while intoxicated. A date for her arraignment in Rockingham County Superior Court has yet to be set.
