Gordon Korman, the children’s and young adult author whose books have sold more than 30 million copies, will be visiting all three Andover middle schools next week.

Korman, who has written more than 100 books over the past 45 years, is visiting on a grant from the Andover Coalition for Education and as part of the APS Middle School Library Author Series. ACE grants will also fund visits from Kayla Miller, Aisha Saeed, Ellen Oh and Steve Sheinkin for the series during the 2022-23 school year. Each middle school is incorporating the works of the visiting authors into the curriculum.

The schedule for Korman’s visit:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 12, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.: West Middle School
  • Thursday, Oct. 13, 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.: Wood Hill Middle School
  • Friday, Oct. 14, 9–10 a.m.: Doherty Middle School

Update, Oct. 7: A previous version of this article listed the wrong dates for Wood Hill and Doherty. Andover News regrets the error.
