A specialty food store born in the heart of the coronavirus pandemic in downtown Andover has closed, but hopes to reopen in a new location.

Elsie’s Pantry, which opened in May 2021, closed its store at 90 Main Street on Jan. 28, but continues to offer its locally-sourced products online. Elsie’s Pantry’s offerings range from locally roasted coffees to small-batch organic hot sauces to handmade cooking tools. You can also call 978-886-6814 to place orders.

“I will miss my space, but felt I needed a better one,” owner Linda Connors McCarthy said in a Facebook post. “I will miss all your faces even more, but hopefully only for a short time.”
