Newsletter

We want Andover News to always be useful and to never be annoying. We’re not looking for the biggest number of subscribers possible, but to serve the subscribers who want a quick, daily rundown of what’s happening in Andover each day.

That’s why when you sign up for our daily newsletter, you’ll get our daily “things to know in Andover” sent to your email inbox by 9 a.m. You’ll also get occasional breaking news alerts. But you’ll never receive more than two emails in a single day from us, and most days you’ll only receive one.

What you won’t get is:

  1. Content that is not clearly about Andover.
  2. News from other towns, or statewide/national news: if it’s not about Andover, we’re not interested in it. If it’s not about Andover and you’re interested in it, there are plenty of other news publications covering other parts of Massachusetts you can turn to.
  3. “Partner content,” or, more accurately, advertisements made to look like editorial content.
  4. More than two emails from AndoverMANews.com on any single day.

We never share your personal information, and we will not spam you. We will, however, in rare circumstances, send out breaking news alerts when 1) the news is truly breaking and 2) we believe it affects a majority of people on our email list. Think election results, power outages, school closures and water main breaks, not rewritten press releases posing as news and other items that can wait until the next morning’s newsletter.

Questions? See our privacy policy or email us, and we’ll get back to you with an answer within one business day.
