One person was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with unspecified injuries after a car drove off Route 28 into the woods near the Andover-North Reading town line Thursday.
The crash occurred a little before 3 p.m. near Tokyo Steakhouse. The victim was trapped in the vehicle and firefighters had to use the jaws of life to extract the person from the car.
