The town’s popular Concerts in the Park series returns this summer, offering free weekly live music performances at The Park, located at the corner of Chestnut and Bartlet Streets in downtown Andover.
The concert series runs Wednesday evenings from June 25 through August 20 and features a variety of musical genres, including rock, jazz, soul, and tribute acts. Most concerts begin at 6 p.m., with some starting earlier at 5:30 p.m.
The full schedule is as follows:
- June 25 – 60s Invasion (1960s pop and rock)
- July 2 – Rock the House (classic and modern rock)
- July 9 – 12 BARZ BAND (local rock favorites)
- July 16 – ABRAXAS (tribute band)
- July 23 – Jazz Disciples (jazz ensemble)
- July 30 – Alice and the Groove Diggers (funk and soul)
- August 6 – Rico Barr (swing and soul) – 5:30 p.m. start
- August 13 – White Street Band (rock and blues) – 5:30 p.m. start
- August 20 – 4EverFab (Beatles tribute) – 5:30 p.m. start
The concerts are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners. Parking is available in nearby municipal lots and side streets around the downtown area.
