A.M. Briefing

Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker will be in Andover this morning to campaign for state senate candidate Salvatore DeFranco. Bake and DeFranco, who is challenging incumbent Barry Finegold, will speak with local business owners. The two are scheduled to begin their visits at 9 a.m. at Perry's Plate and will then visit two or three additional downtown businesses.

Sports: AHS boys soccer was seeded 24th in the state tournament and will host Springfield Central at 6 p.m. on Saturday....AHS girls soccer will open their tournament run at Framingham on Sunday.

Weather: Sunny, high of 66. Clear skies tonight with a low of 44 (compiled from the Weather Channel).
