Sports: Framingham eliminated AHS girls soccer with a 1-0 win Sunday. In other weekend state tournament action for AHS teams:

- AHS football will host St. John's Prep Friday in the second round of the MIAA Division I tournament after beating Lynn Classical 42-6 Friday.
- AHS field hockey blanked Newton North 7-0 Saturday and will host Acton-Boxboro on Wednesday at 5 in a second-round game.
- AHS boys soccer beat Springfield Central 3-2 Saturday. The team travels to Shrewsbury for a 6 p.m. game tonight.
- AHS girls volleyball won its opening-round match 3-0 over Quincy. The Warriors host Haverhill in a second-round tilt at a time and date TBD.
