A.M. Briefing
- If you want to apply for a property tax abatement this year, you need to submit your application to the assessors' office by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1 (more info).
- Seeing a lot of foxes around town? Andover Animal Control explains why.
- The Boston Globe had an editorial in yesterday's editions about the rise of three independent news sources in Marblehead, a story I mentioned earlier this month. It's worth a read, as it speaks a lot to what you (the readers) and I are trying to do in Andover. "For those who care about our civic bonds and democratic traditions, it’s an encouraging example of what’s possible," the Globe said.
- Trash and recycling collection is delayed one day this week (Wednesday's pickup is today, Thursday pickup is tomorrow, Friday's pickup is on Saturday).
