A.M. Briefing
- Andover is under a winter weather advisory until 1 a.m. Thursday. Our area is expected to get 2 to 4 inches this afternoon, but some models say the Merrimack Valley could get as much as 8 inches. Expect an ugly P.M. commute.
- As of late yesterday afternoon, Andover Public Schools said it was monitoring the potential storm. "There is the possibility we may need to follow an early release day schedule for Wednesday and cancel any afternoon activities," the school district said in a message to families. Check the APS Website for the latest information
- Andover Recreation is asking families to make handmade Valentines that will be delivered to elderly residents next month. You can drop your Valentines off at the Recreation Office or at 36 Bartlet Street.
- U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton rescheduled his Town Hall for Andover residents because of Monday's snowstorm. The new date is March 2 at Old Town Hall (more info).
- Moulton did hold a 30-minute virtual session Monday, where he discussed the debt crisis, China, and transportation.
