- The Andover High School Parent Advisory Council is seeking donations to give gift cards to students. Last year, the group was able to give cards to more than 100 students (more info).
- Yesterday's post about the most popular books at Memorial Hall Library got me thinking about my own reading in 2022. If you're looking for some more recommendations, you can check out the five best books I read in 2022 on my Medium site.
Sports: AHS wrestling won its home opener against North Andover, 57-21 on Wednesday.... Also on Wednesday, AHS girls hockey fell 3-2 to Shrewsbury (compiled from the Boston Globe and other media reports).

Weather: Nearly an inch of rain is in the forecast for Andover today, with wind gusts over 40 MPH and a high of 43. Another half inch of rain is expected this evening, with a low 0f 35.
