A.M. Briefing
Two things to know today
- There is a winter weather advisory for Andover and most of Massachusetts in effect until 4 a.m. Friday. "Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice. Travel could be very hazardous. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute," according to the National Weather Service in Boston.
- I'm going to Disney World! I (hopefully) fly out tonight and return Sunday. I'll be watching the news and posting updates, but it may take me a little longer than usual to jump on stories.
- AHS boys' hockey won the Bresnahan Division team title at the Newburyport Bank classic. The Golden Warriors (11-5-4) defeated Newburyport 4-1 in Tuesday's finals, paced by senior Carter Hillson's two goals. Seniors Alex Doudkin and Braeden Archambault also scored.
- AHS boys' basketball improved to 12-7 with a 54-37 win over Methuen on Tuesday.
