Sports
The MIAA released winter tournament brackets for basketball and hockey over the weekend. Here's where in and when Andover High School teams will start a run for state titles:

- The girls' basketball team was seeded #1 overall in Division I, and received a first-round bye. The Warriors will play the winner of Wednesday's first-round game between Acton-Boxborough and King Phillip Regional in the round of 32.
- The boy's basketball team also received a first-round bye with their 8th seed in Divsion. They will play the winner of tonight's Springfield Central-Marshfield game
- The girls' hockey team was seeded third in the Division II state tournament and will hot Wellesley (30th seed) on Wednesday at 7:10 p.m. at Breakaway Ice Center in Tewksbury in the round of 32.
- 21st-seeded boy's hockey will play 12th-seeded Franklin at 8 p.m. Wedneday at Pirelli Rink in Franklin. The winner will play the winner of Marshfield and Needham in the Sweet 16 round.
In other sports news, AHS girls' gymnastics placed 5th in the MIAA North Championships on Sunday...In Sunday's MIAA Meet of Champions at the Reggie Lewis Center, Neil Chowdhurry won the 600M for AHS boys' indoor track with a time of 1:23.06, while Colin Kirn won the 1000M in 2:30.08. For the AHS girls, Molly Kiley place third in the two mile.

Weather: 90% Chance of Snow, Wind Gusts
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Andover and most of eastern Massachusetts from 9 p.m. tonight until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Expect snowfall totals between 2 and 5 inches and winds gusting up to 35 MPH. The worst is expected during tomorrow's commute, with snow intensity diminishing Tuesday afternoon.

High of 33 today, low of 25 tonight. Tomorrow's high of 36 could help the snow turn over to rain as the day progresses. "Travel will be very difficult late Monday night...The Tuesday morning commute is our biggest concern," the National Weather Service said.
