A.M. Briefing
Four Things To Know Today
|
- If you are able, please support the Andover News GoFundMe campaign to help the Sidney Olson's family. If the family declines the donations, we'll ask them if we can donate any money collected to a charity of their choice.
- The Andover Vocal Music Association is holding its Spring Car Wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at West Middle School on Saturday (more info).
- Water main replacement work will take place on Beech Circle from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m today. There will be a water main shutdown on Beech Circle from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (more info).
- I'm looking for four or more people who would like to join an Andover News publisher's advisory panel (it's a work title). The group would meet informally about once a month starting this summer to discuss ways to reach my mission of providing quality, local news to Andover residents. While I'm looking for people who understand the importance of local news coverage, you do not necessarily need a background in journalism: I'd actually prefer people from a wide range of backgrounds who can offer ideas and advice on small business start-ups, finance, promotion, government, Web design, social media, legal issues and more. If interested, send me an email outlining your background and why you're interested in joining.
