Andover officials were just beginning a study Elm Square safety concerns when a truck hit and killed a five-year-old Sidney Olson.

The weather is going to be great this weekend, and there are several things happening in Andover that will let you out and enjoy the sun:
|
- Head down to Andover's 47th Annual Crafts in the Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today (more info).
- Andover Recreation and Andover Trails are partnering on a free community paddling event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, which will let you explore the Shawsheen River. You don't need a canoe, kayak or any paddling experience (more info).
- Read aloud to Gracie the therapy dog from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Memorial Hall Library.
- Find a hammock or nice park bench and read Andover Center for History & Culture's two part series on the history of West Elementary School.
- Andover Animal Control has some great advice on what to do if you find a baby bird while you're out and about this weekend.
