Andover native Liza Giangrande will star in the Umbrella Arts Center’s production of “The Spitfire Grill” from April 27 to May 18.

Performances will be held at the Umbrella Arts Center in Concord on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets range from $48 to $58 for adults with discounts for seniors, students, and groups.

Giangrande, 30, is an Elliot Norton Award-nominated stage and film actress, and will the lead role of Percy Talbot. “The Spitfire Grill” is “an uplifting Americana musical, based on the beloved film that took home the Audience Award at The Sundance Film Festival.” The production is helmed by award-winning director Ilyse Robbins and features a cast of Boston favorites including Kerry A. Dowling, Anthony Pires, Jr, and Shonna McEachern, in addition to Giangrande.

At 13, Giangrande became a cast member of “Fetch With Ruff Ruffman, Season 4” on PBS Kids Go, in which she was dubbed the Grand Champion. Since Fetch, she has sought to play characters that challenge the norm and fight for what they believe in. Most notably, she played Jo March in “Little Women” and originated the role of Joan of Arc in “Born to Do This: The Joan of Arc Rock Opera.” In the last few months, she made her Off Broadway Debut in Gordon Farrell’s “Girls Who Walked On Glass.”
