An Andover-based defense technology company is laying off 100 workers as part of a restructuring announced earlier this year.

Publicly-traded Mercury Systems disclosed the layoffs in a securities filing last week. The layoffs are part of the consolidation of its mission systems and microelectronics divisions into a single unit.

The company has about 2,500 employees and provides systems to the defense and aerospace industries. Mercury’s Andover headquarters are on Minuteman Road.
