The Andover Garden Club will present ikebana designer Russell Bowers at its March 4 membership meeting. He will create several arrangements while discussing the topic and taking questions.
Bowers is a Master Instructor certified by the Ohara School of Ikebana in Japan. He is president of both the North American Ohara Teachers Association and the Ohara School of Ikebana Boston Study Group, where he organizes workshops and events while promoting the study of Ohara-style Ikebana.
When, Where, and How
The event will be held at South Church (41 Central Street, Andover) on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. It will begin at 10:00 AM with social time and refreshments, followed by a brief business meeting. The presentation will start at approximately 11:00 AM.
The public is encouraged to take advantage of this program. A $10 donation is requested of nonmembers.
