An 11-year-old Andover girl topped more than 100 entrants in LEGO Discover Center Boston’s ‘Mini Master Model Builder’ contest.
“I’m really happy and filled with joy,” Tara Ozalp told Wicked Local, which first reported this story. “I love LEGO. I was amazed I won. I’m just an average kid who likes to play with LEGO and I won this competition.”
Over 100 children submitted photos of their creations for the competition. Out of these, 14 were selected to participate at the Discovery Center in Somerville. Their task was to build something that reflects their summer interests.
