A popular Andover hair salon that has grown rapidly since it opened 2014 is making a move downtown.
Salon Beau, named Best of Boston and Best of Northshore, is moving from its current Park Street location to a 3,000-square-foot loft-style industrial salon in the Barnard building at 10 Main Street in October. The grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
It will be the third space Salon Beau has occupied in eight years, with each space three times bigger than the prior one. Salon Beau, which is known for its balayage techniques, hair extensions and popular lived-in colors, now has 15 employees.
“I wanted to build a salon where not only people wanted to get their hair done, but also where people wanted to work,” owner Sean Michael, who opened the salon two years after graduating from hair school. “We grew so much as a business, a brand, and personally as a leader over the last few years, and are so excited to show you Salon Beau 3.0!”
Guests at the grand opening on Oct. 22 will have a chance to win a free makeover and product. The salon will be offering samples and a mimosa bar, as well as free consultations and discounts on all products. For more information, see Salon Beau’s website.
