Among the calls that kept Andover police busy this week, according to the police log:
- Hotel guests threatening a desk clerk.
- An elderly woman walking on Dascomb Road in her pajamas.

Sunday, Feb. 5 at 7:54 am: Mass School of Law reports someone stopped in front of school and pointed “a camera or a gun” at turkeys, which are protected. Police spoke with the operator who was taking photos of the turkeys.

8:18 am: Suspicious activity, Andover Country Club Lane.
10:49 am: Car keyed on Shawsheen Road.
11:23 am: Written warning for speed on Lowell junction Road.

4:10 pm: Unemployment fraud, Shattuck Road.
4:55 pm: Kids causing disturbance, Main Street. Two 14-year-old twin girls ran away, River Road. “Dad came home and (took) custody of the children.”

Friday, Feb. 3

3:06 pm: Loose dog, Clinton Court. Dog reunited with owner.
3:59 pm: Loose dog, Oriole Drive/Reservation Road.
4:08 pm: Bird in fireplace, Lincoln Street. Bird removed.
5:50 pm: Break-in reported on Powers Road.
7:05 pm: Illegal burn.
9:05 pm: Caller concerned about well-being of two dogs outside on Woburn Street.
9:39 pm: Dead deer on Bypass.
Saturday, Feb. 4
5:11 am: Assist fire department with forced entry on Lowell Junction Road.

9:18 am: Tree fell, “nipping” house on Torr Street. National Grid notified.

2:50 pm: Person wants to speak with officer about their 41-year-old son, who lives in Boston and may be missing. Boston police told them to call Andover police.
5:24 pm: Loose dog, Washington Avenue.
Sunday, Feb. 5

8:21 am: Caller reports a “bear-sized raccoon” on Shattuck Road and acting strangely.”Unable to put the raccoon down at this time. Nature will have to take its course.”
11:48 am: Woman in white puffer jacket waving knife at hotel on Minuteman Road. Woman has removed all property from room and is waiting for a taxi.
11:56 am: Guestsin two rooms refusing to leave hotel on River Road and threatening desk clerk. Police stood by while guests removed property from room and left area.
12:35 pm: Sex offense/rape.
9:36 pm: Fight, North Street.
10:04 pm: Well-being check, Railroad Street.
11:28 pm: Well-being check, Railroad Street.
Monday, Feb. 6
7:13 am: Written warning for speeding on Haverhill Street.
