Andover is preparing to paint the town with pride this month as it hosts its 2nd Annual Pride Stroll on Saturday, June 28 — a full-day celebration dedicated to freedom, love, and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
Part of a growing town-wide initiative to make Pride Month more visible and vibrant, the event promises to be bigger, bolder, and more beautiful than ever. More than 45 local businesses — including dining spots, retail shops, and cultural venues — have come together to sponsor over $2,000 in prizes for attendees. The Andover Chamber of Commerce is contributing the grand prize.
“The community response has been incredible,” organizers said. “This isn’t just a stroll — it’s a celebration of identity, acceptance, and joy.”
Participants are encouraged to visit the many sponsoring businesses throughout the day, where they can collect stamps, enjoy special offers, and be entered to win prizes. The event aims to spotlight LGBTQ+ voices and bring residents together in a spirit of unity and celebration.
Details and updates on the stroll can be found on the event’s official website.
With colorful displays, community spirit, and meaningful support for equality, Andover’s Pride Stroll is poised to become one of the standout events of the summer. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the celebration on June 28.
