Andover Public Schools are accepting applications from residents interested in joining a newly formed Superintendent Advisory Council.
“The purpose of the council is to share meaningful conversations, receive candid feedback, and solicit the council’s insights and ideas as liaisons for the Andover community,” Superintendent Magda Parvey said in a note to the community. “I am optimistic that meeting on a consistent basis will promote a positive impact on the educational experience and serve the best interests for all APS students.”
Membership on the council is open to all community members, regardless of whether they have students in the school system. Members will serve in an advisory council for two years. The council will have 25 members, and the application is open until June 25.
