An Andover-based furniture maker will transform a portion of its historic mill building in Dundee Park into studios for the local fine arts community.

fiVO Design said fiVO Studios “aligns seamlessly with Andover’s vision for expanding arts and culture in the Downtown area.”

fiVO Studios “builds excitement for the future of Andover’s Historic Mill District,” said Planning Director Paul Materazzo. “I look forward to seeing the project come into fruition and being a resource for the community.”

The space offers artists tall ceilings, expansive windows, and customizable studios. Artists will also be able to showcase their work in the adjoining fiVO Design showroom. fiVO has scheduled an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 26. Applications will be available at the open house.

“This project has been a long time in the making,” said fiVO Design owner Stewart Junge. “While we easily could have leased the space to any tenant, our commitment to the community inspired us to create something more meaningful.”
