I am writing to voice my strong support for Sandis Wright’s re-election to the Andover School Committee. I have worked with Sandis on various initiatives. As a member of the Budget Advisory Council, I have seen his commitment to our schools first hand. Sandis has proven himself to be a dedicated, thoughtful, and collaborative leader who consistently puts the needs of Andover’s students and families first.

Throughout his tenure, Sandis has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to finding equitable solutions to the complex challenges facing our schools. His leadership in addressing the district’s budget deficit is a testament to his ability to navigate difficult financial decisions without compromising the quality of education. He approaches every issue with fairness and pragmatism, ensuring that all voices—students, parents, teachers, and taxpayers—are heard and respected.

What sets Sandis apart is his ability to foster collaboration rather than division. In an era when it is easy to fall into an “us against them” mentality, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to productive dialogue and balanced decision-making. He understands that the best solutions emerge from working together, not from drawing battle lines.

Sandis Wright has been a steady, principled, and effective advocate for Andover’s schools. His leadership is exactly what we need to continue moving forward. I urge my fellow residents to support his re-election on Tuesday, March 25.
