I am writing in support of Sandis Wright’s candidacy for re-election to the Andover School Committee. Beginning soon after my family moved to Andover in late 2019, I first knew Sandis as a parent of a classmate of one of my daughters. From that perspective, and in observing Sandis’ time working with different volunteer organizations and the School Committee, I have always admired his combination of dedication, kindness, and pragmatism.
Through tumultuous times for our schools – not to mention the School Committee itself – Sandis has been both level-headed and open-minded. He works hard, listens carefully, focuses on collaboration and solutions, balances competing goals thoughtfully, and always acts in the best interests of the community. I look forward to voting to re-elect Sandis, and I hope you will do so as well.
