The budget increase is 3.6% and the tax increase is 5.9% Why do our taxes go up a bigger % than the budget?
This has been going on every year for years. This is without the increase in assessments.
It will continue to happen until the many Andover residents who are challenged by the tax increases show up to town meeting to vote No against the spending spree our town is on. Huge thank you to Andover News for doing the only real and responsible reporting in this town.
