Downtown Andover is getting a new, high-end Indian café and bar that will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Monica’s Mithai Cafe & Bar is the brainchild of Monica Soni. The restaurant will take over the Post Office Avenue space previously occupied by Yella, which announced its closing in May. An opening date for Monica’s has yet to be announced.
Soni said the store emerged from her hobby of making Indian deserts. When demand expanded, she began looking for a storefront.
