Little was said in the 911 call from a Porter Road house where a father shot and killed his wife and son before killing himself early Thursday morning. But dispatchers twice warned police responding to the scene to be careful based on the few words that were spoken.
“There was a statement, ‘Just kill me now,’ so be aware, be careful,” the dispatcher said in a recording of radio communication with the first police officers to arrive on the scene.
“It looks like there’s somebody on the floor in the back,” a police officer told responded.
Andrew Robinson, 56, shot and killed his wife Linda, 55, and his son Sebastion, 12, shortly after the 911 call was placed at 3:21 a.m. Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe said police had not been called to the $2 million home before.

It was a man’s voice heard on the 911 call. A man screaming in the background and things being smashed could also be heard.
Andrew Robinson had a license to carry firearms that expired last February and was last known to own two guns. He left his job at Channel Building Co. in Wilmington about six months ago, the Boston Globe reported Friday.
“Obviously, we know the how,” Keefe said Thursday. “We’re trying to figure out the why right now, so we’re going to need some time to figure that out.”

Dispatchers made several calls after the 911 call from inside the house was disconnected, but were unsuccessful.
“Based on the 911 call, we need to make every effort to raise someone and get into that house if you can,” the dispatcher said. “It’s clear there was an altercation going on.”
Upon arriving on the scene, police and Andover Fire Rescue had to break through two doors to enter the home.
“Respond to 48 Porter road for a possible medical,” another voice said seconds later in the 2:58 recording that first appeared on Fox News.
The dispatcher repeated his warning about the “Just kill me now” statement on the 911 call after responders said they needed to make a forced entry to get in the house.
“Possible three victims,” the dispatcher says in the recording’s final moments.
“Received.”
