Andover and Lawrence police are investigating a series of recent car break ins along the Andover-Lawrence line and throughout the Town of Andover.
“We are asking that if anyone has seen or may have video on their home surveillance cameras of potential suspicious activity, in particular Shawsheen Heights, Chandler Road, Greenwood Road, Lovejoy Road or River Road areas, [to] contact the Andover Police Department Detectives at (978) 623-3550,” Andover police spokesman Lt. Edward Guy said. “We also ask that residents ensure that they lock their vehicles and remove any valuable items from their cars.”
The reported break ins include eight on Oriole Drive on Aug. 21. Guy said the department is also investigating some motor vehicle thefts and an incident where all four tires were stolen from a car.
