The Andover Farmers Market will open its 19th season on Saturday, June 21, with weekly markets scheduled through October 18. This year, the market will operate at a new temporary location on the Town Green at 34 Bartlet Street, between the Town Offices and The Park, due to ongoing construction at its usual site.
The market will run each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring a mix of local farmers, food producers, artisans, and prepared food vendors. It remains a producer-only market, meaning vendors sell goods they have grown or made themselves.
Several changes and programs will continue or debut in 2025:
- The market will maintain its $25 SNAP matching program to support food access for residents using food assistance benefits.
- The Power of Produce (POP) Club will return, offering educational activities and incentives for children to engage with local produce.
- Weekly events will include live music, seasonal produce highlights, and community tent activities.
The season’s early events include:
- June 21: Season kickoff celebration
- June 28: PRIDE Celebration
- July 5: “Berry Good Day” with a musical performance by the Merrimack Valley Community Music School
A full vendor list and schedule of events are available on the market’s website at andoverfarmersmarket.com.
