Pomps Pond

In addition to the beach and swimming area with lifeguards, the pond has picnic areas, a playground, concession stand, bathrooms and boat rentals.
Open noon to 7 on weekdays and 10 am to 6 pm, the 2023 Pomps Pond swimming season runs through mid-August this year. Andover residents can purchase a season pass at AndoverRec.com or from staff at the pond ($150 for residents, $90 for senior residents). Daily pas are $5 for residents, $10 for non-residents on weekdays and $10 for residents, $5 for residents under 13 on weekends. Nonresident rates on weekends are $20 per person or $10 per person under 13. This year the pond is also offering discounted season passes for residents who can walk or bike to the pond and do not need to park a car.
Berry Pond at Harold Parker State Forest

Swimming at the state park is available at Berry Pond. There is a $5 parking fee ($20 non-MA residents) charged through the end of October. The forest is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Frye Pond Beach at Harold Parker State Forest

A second swimming area, Frye Pond Beach, is located at the Lorraine Campground and open to the public when it’s not busy. Call Harold Parker State Forest for more info at 978-686-3391.
Town Beach at Silver Lake
Wilmington, MA
Non-residents can buy a day pass for $10 per person (kids under 3 free). The swimming area is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm through Aug. 7. For more information, call the Wilmington Recreation Department at 978-658-4270
