Three New Hampshire men are facing felony drug charges following what started as a routine traffic stop in Andover last week.

Andover Police Lt. Edward Guy said Officer Dylan Ring stopped a speeding car on River Road near the Interstate 93 interchange around 10:25 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. Ring, who was assisted by Massachusetts State Trooper Colby Buccheri, found evidence of drug use.

During a search, Ring and Buccheri found what investigators believe to be crack cocaine and fentanyl.

The men who were arrested and the charges they are facing are:

  • Kenneth Bond, 54, of Manchester, NH: Possession of a Class A substance (fentanyl) with intent to distribute, possession of a Class A substance (fentanyl), and possession of a Class B substance (crack cocaine).
  • Roland Thibeault, 29, of Manchester, NH: Possession of a Class A substance (fentanyl), and possession of a Class B substance (crack cocaine).
  • Robert Cooper, 39, of Manchester, NH: Possesion of a Class A substance (fentanyl) with intent to distribute, possession of a Class A substance (fentanyl), and possession of a Class B substance (crack cocaine).
