For the first time in its history, Andover will host professional boxing on Thanksgiving Eve.

The Nov. 27 card features a six-round lightweight fight between Middleton’s Austin Keller (2-2, 2 KO’s) and Methuen’s Jordan Yantin (4-1, 3 KO’s) and a four-round heavyweight fight between Fall River’s Jon Gruber (5-2, 2 KO’s) and Boston’s Victor Hugo Costa. More bouts will be announced in the coming weeks.

The event at the DoubleTree hotel on Old River Road is being promoted by Boston Boxing Promotions. Tickets are available at www.BostonBoxingPromotions.com

“The Thanksgiving Eve tradition has been held in Windham, New Hampshire for the past six years and has been the stage for some of New England’s most memorable boxing moments this decade,” the promoters said in a news release. “Athletes who have competed on these Thanksgiving Eve events have gone on to fight on ESPN, DAZN, and Pay-Per-View.”
