At least five cars were broken into at the parking lot of the Andover/North Andover YMCA early Wednesday morning.
Andover police spokesperson Lt. Edward Guy said there are no suspects and the break-ins, which occurred sometime between 6 and 9 a.m., remain under investigation.
The thief or thieves smashed windows and stole items from the cars. It was the second time in as many weeks a thief or thieves have hit the parking lot, according to YMCA members. The facility on Haverhill Street opens at 5 a.m. on weekdays.
