The Andover Health Division regularly inspects restaurants, stores, schools, and other establishments that serve and sell food, and Andover News publishes the inspections reports monthly. It’s important to note it’s not unusual for a restaurant to have a few minor infractions in a report.

Restaurants
Bartlet Street, 11 Bartlet Street, on May 8
Areas where the establishment was out of compliance:
- Food Employee Reporting Agreements were not available for inspector review.
- Consumer advisory asterisks observed incorrect on menu.
- Allergen disclaimer observed incorrect on menus.
Chili’s Bar and Grill, 131 River Road, on May 19
Areas where the establishment was out of compliance:
- Sanitizer measured above 400ppm at bar three bay sink.
- Several chemical bottles observed not labeled.
- Line cook observed with bracelet on.
Greater Lawrence Tech Four Winds Restaurant, 57 River Road, on May 21
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:
- Observed hand sink at bar area with no hand sink signage or paper towels.
- No Consumer Advisory was observed on menu/menu board.
- Observed rodent droppings under fryolators.
- Observed Cutting boards heavily scored and no longer cleanable.
- Observed hood crates with dust accumulation.
- Observed non compliant plastic straw.
Mootone, 15 Railroad Street, on May 29
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:
- Response to complaint about bathrooms received May 29, 2025 by Andover HD.
- Men’s restroom observed with hot water at the handwashing sink, hand soap, paper towels and enclosed trash can. Wall paint is slightly damaged under paper towel dispenser where water drips from wet hands grabbing paper towels. Tiles are slightly raised under handwash sink but it is because the tiles mask the access door into the basement.

Perfecto’s Cafe, 79 North Main Street, on May 29
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:
- No signed food employee health reporting agreement forms observed during inspection.
- Employee drink and medicine observed in food prep area.
- Allergen disclaimer observed incomplete on digital menu.
- Both hood stickers (2) observed indicate last date of service occurred on June 5, 2022 and was due in 180 days.
- Flip top unit and food containers in the unit observed without covering.
Spinners Pizza Parlor, 195-195A Andover Street, on May 5
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:
- Signed copies of the employee health reporting agreement form not available during inspection.
- Lack of date marking observed throughout establishment.
- Table top where dough is prepared observed beginning to deteriorate.
Uptown Gelato and Boba, 89 Main Street, on May 8
Areas where establishment was out of compliance:
- Signed Food Employee Reporting Agreements were not available for inspector review.
- Ladder observed stored in front of handwashing sink located near rear exit door.
- Sanitizer in three bay tested above 400ppm.
