In Andover, snow is expected to start in the late evening hours and continue throughout the day Saturday, before turning over to sleet or rain in the late afternoon or early evening. While more or less accumulation is possible, Andover is expected to get at a total of 5-8 inches of snow. The good news is we should see warmer weather Sunday, with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 43.
“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute,” the National Weather Service said in its Winter Storm Warning. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.”
