“Which Andover Home Would You Buy” is an Andover News feature where we pick three Andover homes for sale in a certain price range. Readers then vote on the home they would buy if they were in the market.
Last week, we looked at some of the most expensive homes for sale in Andover. This week, we do a 180 and look at some of the cheapest homes for sale in Town. After taking a look at the houses for sale, you can vote for your favorite home. Results will be posted in the next edition of “Which Andover Home Would You Buy?”
You can also check out last week’s winner, when we looked at for sale houses near the $2.7 million price point. Finally, check out all the houses featured in Which Home Would You Buy?
150 Salem Street, $550,000
This three bedroom checks in at just over 1,100 square feet and recently had its price dropped. The listing says its prime for renovation, and there’s room on the lot to expand. There’s a detached garage, while the roof is four years old and windows and siding are about 10 years old. The downsides: the heating system needs to be replaced, and the house is being sold as is.
29 Stevens Street, $579,900
This west Andover olonial has three bedrooms and two baths and, according to the listing, is wellmaintained. The roof, windows, furnance and hot water heater have all been replaced in the last five years. There’s also an oversized one-car garage, three-season porch and “scenic” backyard.
6 Overlook Drive #401, $599,900
This empty-nester condo is a top-floor unit and is “near new.” It’s located in Riverside Woods with spectacular “long wooded views” and views of the sunset over Deer Jump Reservation. There are two bedrooms and two full baths with 1,600 square feet of space.

29 Stevens Street is a fabulous home but the description in the article is incorrect…I think it’s from a previous week’s article! My husband John Walsh of JW Real Estate, LLC is the listing agent.
Fixed! Sorry!
