Andover’s annual celebration of all things winter will have a new addition this year: a beer garden on the shore of Pomps Pond by Oak & Iron Brewing Company.
Winter Fest returns to Pomps Pond from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to the beer garden, the event features guided hikes around the pond, an ice fishing derby, a hockey target competition, an ice rescue demonstration by Andover Fire Rescue, and more.
If craft beet isn’t your thing, there will also be hot chocolate, hot dogs, and other light refreshments.
The annual event is a joint effort by Andover Conservation, Andover Recreation, and Andover Youth Services. Winter Fest is free to attend.
