I'll be speaking the past, present and future of local news at the Robb Center on June 27 at 1:30 p.m. More than 2,500 local newspapers in the U.S. have closed since 2005, and the closures are continuing at a rate of about two per week. Cloudy this morning, thunderstorms developing later today and continuing into the evening. Chance of rain 70%. High of 71, low of 57.
