Backers, Opponents Of New AHS: Let Us Vote
|
|
|
|
Andover voters may not have to wait for the select board to call a special Town meeting. Any registered voter can petition for a special town meeting by collecting 200 signatures.

A.M. Briefing
- Andover High School Assistant Principal Scott Darlington joined the Andover High School Building Committee. He replaces former AHS Principal Caitlin Brown, who left the district in August. The appointment was announced at Thursday night's meeting.
- It's time to help Andover firefighters fill the boot. They'll be out collecting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association at various locations in town today.
- If you're planning on heading to T&B Landscaping's Touch-A-Truck tomorrow, they'll be collecting Toys For Tots. Bring a new, unwrapped toy if you are able.
- Today: Rain ends this morning, some sun for Andover Day as the day progresses. High of 66. A few clouds at night, low of 49.
- Tomorrow: Sunny, high of 74. Mostly clear at night, low of 56.
- Monday: More of the same, high of 73. Clear, low of 52 at night.
- AHS field hockey improved to 6-1 with a 2-0 win over Chelmsford Wednesday. Bella DiFiore scored in the first quarter, while Khloe Broderick added the insurance goal in the third quarter. Both goals came off of corner shots by Rose Memmolo (game report submitted by Betsy Memmolo).
