FinCom: School Committee Faces 'Difficult Decisions'
|

The Andover School Committee will have to trim fat from the Andover Public Schools budget over the course of the next several months leading up to annual town meeting in May.

- Be ready for detours downtown starting at 6 a.m. today and tomorrow, and possibly Monday if rain interrupts the work, as Andover begins final paving of the DMCC Parking Lot (map and more info).

- AHS field hockey advanced to the state finals for the third straight year with Thursday's 3-0 win over Wachusett. Bella Difiore had another two goals while Mia Giaimo added an insurance strike. The Warriors (19-2) will play top-seeded Walpole in the state finals for the third straight year at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at WPI in Worcester (Lindsey Reeves photo).
