The select board in recent years has looked to keep tax increases even across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. But under that scenario, industrial property taxes would increase between 9 and 10 percent while keeping residential property tax increases in the 5 percent range.

The budget is down from the current fiscal year's $24.5 million, when the budget included a new, $600,000 turf field at Bancroft Elementary School and replacement of fire and DPW vehicles.

Infant Dies After Andover Crash
|
|
|
Valentina Grace Campos was taken to Lawrence General Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later transported to a Boston hospital by MedFlight helicopter. The girl's mother, April Campos of Nashua, NH, broke two ribs and a knee in the crash.
