Curriculum, Recess Times Part Of Teacher Contract Negotiations

Teachers continued to "work to rule" Monday and will continue demonstrations at APS schools until a contract is signed.

- The branch and tree collection site at Pomps Pond the Town set up after last month's microburst is closing on Friday. Residents with permits can continue to drop off debris at the Bald Hill Compost Site (288 High Plain Road).
- Work on the Essex Street bridge started yesterday, and it may cause some changes to traffic patterns. Work begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. this week.

Board Narrows Town Seal Replacement To Two Designs
|
|
|
A survey conducted last year drew 1,818 responses that showed people were almost evenly split on whether the town needed to update its seal, which it is required to have under state law.
