A.M. Briefing

Things To Know Today
  1. APS schools are closed Monday for parent-teacher conferences for students in grades 1-12.
  2. Former Phillips Academy Head of School John Palfrey, who is now president of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, has a great piece in The Atlantic on the plight of local newspapers where he uses the Andover Townsman as a case study. It's worth a read if you share my passion for preserving quality, local journalism.
  3. I had a blast and learned a lot when I spoke to the Andover Rotary Club yesterday. I can speak to your group about the importance and plight of local journalism, the Israeli mafia, and a wide range of Andover issues and topics. Let me know if you're interested.
