Fusion filed a motion to compel earlier asking U.S. District Court Judge Myong J. Joun to order the district to turn over to turn over copies of applications and approvals for families who wanted to homeschool their children.

Police responded to a report of an overdose at the 26-year-old victim's home on June 13, 2019, where he was pronounced dead after efforts to revive him failed.
