A.M. Briefing

Things to know today

1. Select board members from Andover, Tewksbury, and Dracut gathered where the three communities meet along the Merrimack River Saturday for a "perambulation" of the towns' boundaries. The now mostly-ceremonial tradition of verifying town borders is required under Massachusetts law and dates back more than 200 years.
2. Water main replacement begins Wednesday on Argilla Road, Andover Street, Reservation Road, Haverhill Street, and Lowell Street. Expect detours and delays (more info).

3. Programming note: Following next week's local election, I'm going to take a little break. The newsletter will not be published on Thursday, March 28 or Friday, March 29.

Weather: Sponsored by T&B Landscaping
Sunny, high of 45. Cloudy tonight, low of 31.
